AirInternet establishes advisory board

We are pleased to announce that we have established an advisory board to help us make important decisions and define our strategy for the future. The board will consist of experts from various sectors, including strategy, finance, technology and marketing.

The purpose of the advisory board is to advise us on important issues affecting our business and help us make decisions that benefit our business. We believe that the expertise and experience of our members will help us achieve our goals and better serve our customers.

We begin by introducing our first member to you, in the coming months we will introduce the remaining members to you:

Cees Links, CEO, SuperLight Photonics

Cees Links is a Dutch entrepreneur and the current CEO of SuperLight Photonics, a company focused on developing supercontinuum generation lasers, also known as broadband lasers or white lasers.

Before that, Cees was the founder and former CEO of GreenPeak Technologies, a fabless semiconductor company for Smart Home and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.

Cees was also involved in the creation of the IEEE 802.11 standardization committee and the Wi-Fi Alliance from 1991 to 2002. He was also involved in helping establish the IEEE 802.15 standardization committee to form the basis for the Zigbee/Thread/Matter sense and control networking technology and standardization.

He was recognized as a Wi-Fi pioneer with the Golden Mousetrap Lifetime Achievement award in January 2017. In May 2019, he was inducted into the Wi-Fi NOW Hall of Fame. On Oct. 29, 2019, the WaveLAN team received an IEEE Milestone Award, recognizing WaveLAN as the forerunner of Wi-Fi, leading to the formation of the IEEE 802.11 Working Group for Wireless Local Area Networks.
